You met Allie Brosh?! So jealous!

I am constantly having to say no to things and cut back. One thing I have learned over the years is having a 'not to do' list. My most recent post mentions it, and my next scheduled post is titled "My current 'not to do' list"!

I did! She was really sweet. Her second book came out a few years ago, and she had a few facebook posts on why it took her so long to finish.

Honestly might have to adopt that 'not to do' list...I keep taking on too many things!

A very familiar feeling…

I started following Allie’s blog fairly early on and have both her books. I might need to have a reread soon!

I say 'clean ALL the things!' all the time, or some variation therein. I remember reading her website and just snorting and crying of laughter. They're such joyful books and now you've got me thinking that maybe I should re-read them, too.

I reiterate: Yeah, you are doing a lot. Glad you’re being selective and I hope it helps you and your shoulder. I also think “The Center Cannot Hold” references Yeats’s poem “The Second Coming,” if that’s of any interest or intrigue.

Ooh yes I should look at that, too. I always knew it from Joan Didion, but she probably got it from Yeats. Self referencing ouroboros.
